I look forward to seeing what he endorses.

What's his preferred hair pick for maintaining the 'fro?

DCP Family,

Last season my son went thru quite a few pairs of tennis shoes throughout the DCI season. While I understand and expected this to happen, is there a certain brand and/or shoe that seemed to work best to handle and hold up during the rigors of tour, based off your experiences?

He would normally get a hole on the top part of the shoe, mainly due to pointing his toes upward as he marched, based off what he told me. He does have very wide and large feet (Size 13), not sure if that plays a factor.

Durability and comfort is the priority, not concerned with price.

Any and all suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Regardless or what shoe he chooses, the hole in the top may still happen. I have that problem with my Asics. I've worn them for years but the last few generations are made of considerably lighter weight materials. That makes them more comfortable, but they don't put the level of reinforcement in the toe area that they used to, and I think that is the case with most current shoes models. Almost like a heavy sock attached to a sole.

  • 2 weeks later...

I told @Terri Schehr I would update everyone on what shoe my son decided on for the season.

After researching etc.........he is going with the Brooks Ghost 15 Tennis Shoe that was on the list supplied by @Dpsouthern81 back on page one of this thread.

Thank you to the DCP Family for your idea's, thoughts, and advice. It is greatly appreciated!

Glad a decision was made.  Some of us were getting a little worried.

I await the midseason and after action reports!

Then may look at those for my next pair.

[maybe he should be asking about an NIL deal with Brooks?]
