San Antonio - Draw for Order of Appearance

Order for the DCI Southwestern Championship in San Antonio (July 22), will be based on reverse order of placement from July 15 events in Fort Collins, Little Rock and Rockford and drawn at random in groups of threes. Corps not appearing in any of those events will be placed in the order based on their last score received.

**Blue Stars & Troopers are tied. Do they flip a coin to determine which group of 3? Or is there another way to make the determination?

But for right now, today July 16th, 2023...........it sure brings a smile to my face to see Mandarins sandwiched between two heavyweight prize fighters Crown and Phantom.

That's a really good question. 

If I was determining this, my first tiebreaker would be head-to-head, which in this instance would favor BS.

For purely selfish reasons with nothing to do with my like of the Mandarins, I hope they get the top draw in their block.

The website didn't say. But I would think for the planning purposes of the corps, that DCI would need to announce the schedule by Monday or Tuesday at the absolute latest.

Just went back and looked at least year. DCI released the seedings for San Antonio on Sunday July 17th, six days prior to the regional. 

If they follow last year, we should get seedings some time today!

They should have groups of  three for one through six and then groups of two for the next six spots.  That is fairest method.  Back to groups of three after that.  We will get lineup this afternoon.

PC actually being closer to evening then morning is also a wonderful site to see!!!!!!

It's so crazy that Mandarins and/or Regiment may very well go on after Crown. Who would have seen that coming before the season started?
