Bluecoats 2015.  I had seen the show on video and was disappointed because I compared it to their 2014 show which I loved.

But when I saw it live in Houston I was completely blown away.  It was a show that you absolutely had to see live.  It's still one of my all time favorite shows.

1993 Star of Indiana in Stillwater, MN.

I became a HUGE Star homer in 1990, so I was excited to see them. A friend of mine, who marched Regiment in 1993, told me after Dekalb that Star was incredible. Best show he's ever seen. No one was going to touch them. After they finished, I said to my friend I was with, "That is it! THAT! IS! IT!!!" I thought it was terrible. Boring. Dull. I hated it. I hated it for years and years. Then in about 2004 I was in a big Star kick, listening to/watching 1990-1992 like crazy. I decided to give '93 another go. I don't know what was different, but I got it. It has been, for years, my single favorite show in history. I am glad I get to see it live, I just wish I appreciated it when I did.
