ravedodger
Yeah, I'm with CJ. What about 85 through 89? I'll be an ### and say '89.
ravedodger
If I went with the list, I would have to say '91 is my favorite year. '90 was a little out there, as was '93. I didn't get to see '92. I was in the big desert we call the middle east that year.
gumby5647
i went with 90. As Steve R. said in 89 it was "straight ahead no gimmick drum corps" and that hornline....oh my goodness sake.... (cues up iTunes) :)
gumby5647
But 90...#### that hornline...the sheer control at the molto pianissimo at the end of the 2nd chart...good LORD was a tight sound! "oh yah!" "whew!" "beautiful!" :D
Michael Oldemeyer
Talk about a tough decision! All four shows were fantastic. I'd give the edge to 1991 because I liked the music a little better and because of the reflected cross move at the end. But it's close! ContraMarine272
1990. Hands down, my favorite Star show. That hornline was unreal!! I wish I'd been able to see it live.
scout9193
I actually like 88 and 89 the best. .... CM
jameseuph
1993, the greatest hornline to step on a football field.
BennyASU
1993 was groundbreaking, and one of the most beautiful visual shows ever....still to this day. that being said, i still love 1990. the visual program was pretty #### good, and oh man what a horn book/line! liebot
i think they wouldn't have been as good if they didn't have the money... Just Kidding, Just Kidding!! I figured it was a Star thread so somebody would have to mention how they obviously only did well because they had money (sarcasm off). I think i liked 1992 or 93 the best. They're all good though..
