Also please consider the late Pat McCue ( Marksmen and Sky) played the bari triple tongue solo in 'Comes Love', '71 Sky

PAT McCUE!!!! How could I have forgotten him.... yikes! What a great player he was. That "Comes Love" solo remains one of my faves to this day. May God rest his soul.

"Crossmen 2001 dont know the song (towards the end, jazzy solo) that guy(girl) was tight"

That was Aaron Goldberg- Having gone to school with Aaron, he is a god among men (and us women) on the baritone

That guy from Dutch Boy was none other than Dave "Antman" McPhee, who is now on the Bluecoats Brass Staff. Best Baritone triller I've ever heard, and he later went on to march Blue Devils in 1991, from what I understand....

Since I got involved with drum in 1976, I have heard many, many baritone players.  Jerome Kimbrough is simply the best I've heard.

I do like Brian Law, though...and since he likes Philadelphia teams, I may just change my vote.

Nope...it's Jerome with no doubt.

OMG please don't encourage him!!!! besides I marched right next to him for a number of years and I'm pretty sure I kick his arse :P

Last I heard, Dennis was teaching music at a school on Long Island.... but I don't remember the name of the school.

He was brass coordinator for the Sunrisers from 1980 through 1982....IMO, one of the two or three best brass instructors Sun has ever had.

Fran

oh my, I haven't heard Dennis' name since my LI Kingsmen days! a very talented man.
