drumno5
Love the red scoops on the tenors. Yikes, those toms look like they're about 14" deep. I wonder why they thought they needed the scoops as well? Fred O.

Northern Thunder
Just made our first big finals at DCI.Whitewater 1984. Sorry Bridgemen. Troopers too. I was there. (Loved VK's "Centurion Starfire".) That was the year Garfield did their "tumble" at finals. (But they still got perfect score in ensemble visual.) madalumni
91?? Looks like the guard unis are from the first "City of Angels" show. Yep, that's 91. Doesn't seem like it was that long ago! I remember that summer. I lived about 8 blocks from Camp Randall. On the day of Preview of Champions, I slept in...woke up at about 10:30, realized that prelims were taking place and decided to wander over to the stadium and watch whoever was on at that time...as I was crossing Monroe Street, I heard the announcer say "Fred Niccolai, is your Corps ready" I sprinted into the stadium, up to the back fence just in time to watch Madison from the back... they were on fire and so was the crowd...and I really had never seen a show from that perspective...in a way, it was like being on the field with the guys performing! KeithHall
We kicked their butts in a football game in Montreal. Very fun time for both corps, I was teaching Renegades at the time. Glassmen
