We eventually visited New York City in the mid-seventies during our school choir field trip. The trip was awesome as is the above Troopers photo. It looks like they're wearing cumberbunds and sashes when they usually wore belts with buckles. With all of the hundreds photos I have seen, I never knew that Troopers ever wore cumberbunds and sashes! As for the Unisphere - Of course we all know that it is really a space ship waiting to take a big, ugly bug off the planet!
