84BDsop
On another thread here on DCP, someone mentioned the merger of the Magnificent Yankees and the Geneva Appleknockers to form "The Magnificent Knockers"....I'm still waiting for the pictures! b**bs Just check out "Young Frankenstein"...the scene where Gene Wilder and Terri Garr first show up at the castle....heh (my fave line of the film!) about the 50 second mark! lindap
1970 Hamburg, New York, program scans (old program, thin paper), program cover and centre page (sorry about the cut-off scan). Scans are in order of appearance in the program. Note: photos may have been from 1969 or earlier. Didn’t know where to post these. Hope you don’t mind. Some might be double posts, my apologies in advance. 1970 Hamburg, New York, program scans, Shoreliners 1970 Hamburg, New York, program scans, Scarborough Firefighters. I would be somewhere in the back row holding a flag pole.

MikeD
Speaking of ridiculous drums. My back is hurting just looking at this. I played double bass just like that in 1969 in the Garden State Circuit corps I marched with. Though...we removed the bottom head and rim...the one in the picture seems to have at least the rim still attached.

We called him "Witch Doctor Mike" in 06 'cause no one could pronounce his name and he's an accupunturist...and "Mike" was Mike Nash
