uberon
There's some good Ska music out there that corps could do... hey, they already have trumpets and trombones... it would make for an easy conversion. :P
liebot
I want to hear some kansas, Carry on my wayward son... then you should've been there for ECJ 02's finals week performance in madison... the PA malfunctioned and the first couple words of carry on blasted over the loudspeaker during their show... quite the mishap. BorisTS
Ye I think Tommy was done. I loved the WHO's Next album. And John was a great French horn player. I remember after he died, a lot of his instruments, stage clothes, and such were auctioned off. In addition to the dozens of guitars and basses, he had pretty much every voice of brass instrument from piccolo trumpet down to BB-flat tuba (although, as you mentioned, french horn was his main axe). I kind of wanted his bass trombone since I'm a Who fan and that's what I play, but I didn't have the cash. (And it was a Yamaha or something anyway). Clavejo
And I've said this before, and so have others: PINK FLOYD Renegades 2004 I'd love to see some Led Zeppelin done by a corps. Crusaders and Renegades 2006
skajerk
Let's not forget ToP and the Freelancers in '84.
Galen
Whether or not we've passed the point where it's vogue to play rock music as a show... which band would you like to have a corps take on for a show? Rush and Queen are my two hopefuls.
Galen
I want to hear some kansas, Carry on my wayward son... Cap Sound did a good rendition of that one in '02. Or if you want to go older, BD did Paradox as a drum solo in '82 and '83.
