glory
Who'd have thought this time last year that putting those aggressive drum parts behind that ballad would create something beautiful and one of the great moments of that or any drum corps summer? My money is on the Cadets team to pull this off and thrill me again. HH
bishtom
I'm sniffling too, but it has to do with the vocal parts coming later. :P That does not imply hate??

euponitone
That does not imply hate?? No Tom, im honestly with you on thinking the ballad will be great, but implying that he will be crying because of the ballad is not the same as saying he will hate it sounds good though....better than the first recording of dancer last year....those trumpets....shudder
liebot
It implies a preconceived notion about amplification of voice in drum corps. Not hate. And I think he's justified in having this opinion - It's like someone saying they prefer jazz corps over classical corps, or that they prefer a show that has no fully integrated theme but 3-4 good songs over one with a "whole-show" outlook and a supposed deep meaning. Both are generalizations. Neither imply hate.
bawker
That does not imply hate?? Uh, no. :P doesn't...at all. It implies humour, whereas amped vocals are still something that some of the long time followers of the activity aren't used to. No fun in explaining it, really. Now, if I had used , then you could have possibly drawn the conclusion that I was giving out the Haterade. Thus endeth "Smilies 101: Lesson 1". TommySopranoContra
The Cadets have this knack for choosing amazing ballads.
