leadsop97
just for kicks I'd love to hear someone play the first slow section from the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto. some good stuff there. lots of ballads I'd love to hear though. some pop songs, any of Josh Groban's songs. You're Still a Young Man <~~Tower of Power. I really only wanna hear it for the opening trumpet duet. BD, please? The Love Theme from La Boheme by Puccini...great song. and even though I'm sure corps have done this, Salvation is Created.
PhantomR
PACHABELS CANNON don't care if misspelled <-- or that that's a good one... it just takes to long to develop... I dont know how a drum corps arrangement would work. ~>conner
markdewine
:) Yeah to anything by Josh Groban. I like the voice, AND the orchestrations. Also, "Amanda", or "A Man I'll Never Be", by BOSTON (the rock band) B)
drewbugler
that's a good one... it just takes to long to develop... I dont know how a drum corps arrangement would work.~>conner I heard it works great as a first tune...maybe some corps in white could play it sometime :P I don't know how to make it work, but a jamie cullum ballad would be fresh. His stuff is a nice mix of old and new. You'd have to do a lot of re-writes though...just a hunch.
aatlb25
Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral - Richard Wagner The chromaticism Wagner uses is just brilliant, and this piece is just gorgeous, goosebumps from start to end. And the end is just pure and complete POWER, which really would LOVE to hear a Drum Corps do B) B)
