My personal homer feelings would dictate Bluecoats '95, and my quasi-objective opinion sticks to Bluecoats '95. Anyone remember that show?

'95 Bluecoats was one of the first live DCI shows I ever saw. The arrangements (Bruce McConnell?) were great, but what really was the silent part where a folded flag was presented to a color guard member. The stadium was dead silent. I became a Bluecoats fan then and six years later I aged out there. :)

Perhaps it's [blue Stars 06] not on the poll because it's still being performed live.

Nope, just forgot it when making the poll. Simple oversight.

Some great shows on the list...but the BEST one is missing...Cadets 1971...The Revolutionary War...the entire show was written to dramatize the founding of the country.

We had the sops as the colonists...the lower brass as the British/Hessians...the show had the "Shot Heard Round the World"...the Battle of Trenton....and some of the music was Yankee Doodle....Battle Hymn...Chester...Rule Britannia....Ive's "Variations on America"...and lots of other bits of patriotic music...ending with a closing fanfare of "America, the Beautiful".

Now THAT'S patriotic!!!! :P

'71 Cadets is the show I thought of as I viewed the title for this thread.
