75 - Madison was the first show I ever saw (on DVD that is)

80 - Love the 27 show this year (played it is concert band)

96 - Defiant Heart!!!

1979 - Blue Devils, 27th Lancers.....PHANTOM REGIMENT and "Elsa's"

1982 - See best year in DCI thread

1990 - Anyone in top six could have won, Crossmen !! Scouts !! "SOA - Gone with the wind". Dutch boy, BAC 50th, Freelancers "Batman" ...solid top 25 !

1976, although like a couple of you have said, i too am not too familiar with what happened that decade.

1989, vanguard alone makes that a great year.

1995, with the cavies catching bd at the end, one of bd's best shows, imo, and scouts just making me love the activity even more with their show. good stuff!

1979 - Blue Devils, 27th Lancers.....PHANTOM REGIMENT and "Elsa's"

The '87 DVD has a "vignette" showing the faces of the corps after being announced 2nd....they were stunned at the least...I don't think there was a dry eye on camera

I agree with 90 - it's not a popular choice, but I think it is one of the best top twelves overall of any year.

Don't forget Cadets reprising the best of the 80s, "The Cavalier Anthems," Star setting themselves up for 91 with a sumptuous "Belshazzar's Feast," BD and Phantom - a rock and classical show tie for fourth, SCV with an elegant, powerful rendition of "Carmen," Bluecoats delivering big band, and VK taking us to Hollywood.
