I'm not saying it's legit or not... I'm just saying that Crown's product this year is overall pretty strong, and they actually beat SCV a week ago. Now they're down by nearly 3 points. I know it happens. Plus this is a build up syestem of judging, He amnged to place BC guard in 5th tonight with only half the div 1 corps competing...... last week with everyone they were4th overall...Tell me..... am i wrong about this??????? is it out of line if a caption increases .8 in 2 days? i can see BD and Crown above BC and also SCV, the only one that is possible so suspoect is BK's, but I wasnt there and I'm not familiar with their guard book. His numbers are disparate from the rest of the judging ranks with regard to Bluecoats guard. He needs to be removed from the finals week equation. 1.3 from the top guard score?? Not buying it at all. Is it the right ranking in comparison. Am I homer on this? So be it. BCCG is not 1.3 down from Devils. Costanza is overly influencing the outcome of the show and should be pulled. I totally agree.... and I also think that the Bluecoats aren't getting the numbers they deserve in guard, period. These kids can dance and spin...easily the best guard product I've seen from them. I am not putting 100% stock in this, but I did get wind last year that Mr. Costanza put in for the 'Coats guard caption head two or three years back, and was not chosen...... Crown in 2004.... better than 2003 and 7th place. Crown in 2005....MUCH better than 2004 in all areas. 7th place Crown in 2006....more complex and better in all areas and possibly GREAT! 7th place...maybe even 8th??? I'm over it! i hear theyve revamped a lot of their show, especially the ending, adding new music and drill. perhaps the newness of the material is hurting them. with one show and three rehearsal days before quarters, who knows what could happen.
