Matt_S
Check it out: http://www.dci.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=6...49-13d8d52a6ea5 I'm thrilled as all get out that I'll have these so soon, I just hope the quality doesn't suffer for it. I guess I'll find out next week. Now about those DVDs... ^_^
bawker
Yeah...I hope this isn't a rush job with sub par quality. That would bite, given how many cool shows there are this year. Kudos to DCI for getting them out so fast, though.
gbass598
Wow, thats fast. The APD quality sounded pretty good from being windows media format. If no mixing was needed, these should sound pretty good. Edited August 18, 2006 by gbass598
jjlet
Now if we could only get 13-23 CD's!
Michael Boo
They aren't a rush job as far as quality goes. But they are coming out faster than ever before, sort of like the mid-season CDs from San Antonio we used to have prior to Season Pass. Those were available the next weekend for Indianapolis. These, from my understanding, will be the same high quality we've come to expect the past few years.
2CoolVK
The CDs are recorded and mixed by Grammy winning sound enginner Larry Rock. They will be top quality. Larry records the New York Phil full time.
Einstein On The Beach
I hope they don't sound like the APDs. The APDs tend to be pretty pit heavy (especially with the pits amped now), it would be nice if DCI could figure out a way to fix that on recordings somehow.
