ravedodger
Hahaa and another bari soloist-- I think his name was Jim Rogers (no relation--but nice guy), I think he was the bari soloist in 93 BD--cool stuff there too.

In LA Fiesta? Yeah....that was Preston. (honorable mention to 84 BD - La Fiesta If you;re talking the opening trio, that would be Steve Leanene (sp?), Duane Schimmel (also in the Like a Lover duet with Gino Cipriani....duane didn;t march a whole lot in the 2nd half of the show!), and John Hendrickson (who had a small solo with Madison in 85). If you;re talking about the entire sop line at the end of the chart....on behalf of all 22 of us, thanks!!!! Kamarag
Soprano is easy... Mike Collins during the slow section of Channel One Suite in 1986 Blue Devils. Simply amazing, and it looked effortless. Edited December 11, 2006 by Kamarag
ravedodger
True that--those were some great solos.
HylianHero
For baritone I'm voting for the soloist from Madison Scouts 1999. Amazing tone. I liked the Cavies second trumpet solo in 2002 as well. Edit for my amazing job of typing. Edited December 11, 2006 by HylianHero
