warming up in the lot. to me, thats drum corps. hearing all the hornlines warming up and seeing all the fans. on non-show days, full ensemble rehearsal when the sun is just starting to go down and theres starting to be some shadows on the field from the sun setting behind the trees.

THE SHOW MOST DEFINITELY!!!!

Second poll is ensemble - It's great because usually it's usually later in the day and not so hot out (on non-show days) and the entire corps is on the field.

The show in the first poll, sectionals in the 2nd. I would choose dinner but its a close 2nd to sectionals :)

Agreeing with Jared, the time on the bus prior to shows is my fave. I usually listen to some music, chat with my seat partner, and generally soak in the sunset. Upon arrival my corps usually chills for a few minutes to get adjusted to our surroundings. I stroll the parking lot, unload the scaffolding for the show, and get my horn, and uni. It's a ritual for me I can't break. I always hit warm-up calm, and focused.

Showering, and packing up is another favorite of mine. I love the people I march with, and it's my time to catch up with my sister since we rarely see each other otherwise despite being in the same corps. :)

Show

Sections - LOVED horn arc

However, what kind of massochist picked waking up, I mean really.

That's a really good answer - I would put that second right after sectional rehearsal.

Other than shows, morning visual block was by far my favorite part of the day.

Hearing Scott Stewart whisteling our time to rise and shine and giving us the weather report and schedule.

Full corps run through at the end of a long rehearsal day.

The sun is down. The air is cooler. You're exhausted. It's magic.
