Sections - LOVED horn arc

However, what kind of massochist picked waking up, I mean really.

This kind...

Hearing Scott Stewart whisteling our time to rise and shine and giving us the weather report and schedule.

And the city and state you're in... You can look outside for the weather but some people have no clue what city or state or time zone they're in.

See, waking up isn't bad. Besides, it was grouped with breakfast. And breakfast can be really good. Sometimes breakfast can be motivation for getting up. It was for me. If I got up right away, I could get to the front of the line and have my pick of cereals. If I waited, I'd get there late and there'd be no more Trix or Lucky Charms left, only All-Bran.

Yeah and I hated if they had lucky charms and I didn't get up in time and all they had left was raisin bran or worse, CORN FLAKES...UGGGHHH....lame.

...or if the field linning crew you were on sucked, and you missed breakfast a lot (and part of stretch time).

I always enjoyed pre show prep. I'd like to think it was the calm before the storm. Focused visual block, and brass warm up, and a nice quiet walk to the stadium.

OK, really now--how many of you, your best (most) memories are of bus rides or down time or even snack time after the show? Maybe it's just me, but most of my memories are of ensemble rehearsals. I've told my story about seeing PR in '91 for the first time in rehearsal IN THE RAIN finals week, so maybe I'm just biased. But rehearsal time took the cake. Hate run-throughs--especially the dreaded Double! But that's where the camaraderie and friendships were built for me.

And we got to look at Stacie Wells and Tracy Supan in bikinis! b**bs :worthy: :o  ^0^ :worthy: ^OO^ :OT:

Edit: Forgot sports report--what ever happened to Dick Trickle??? You know, I was looking through the NASCAR section several years later and our boy Dick won pole in some race somewhere--kept that!

1. the show

2. full ensemble rehearsal. its the last thing where all the work from sectionals and vis rehearsal really pieces together.

3. sectionals\horn arc... loved almost every moment of it.

at the time, i might have said snack or free time in there.. but my greatest memories are from the above 3.
