mistofflies
The first time I saw it I noticed it.
Russellrks
I saw it right away but as a drill guy I've always been familiar with the concept of "negative space."
Jared_mello
In the words of Carlos Mencia,"Dee Dee Dee!" I'm sorry, I couldn't help it in the words of me, "That Fat Talentless Man Shouldn't Be Employed!" (edit - within comedy, that is. i guess he's entitled to find a job somewhere else, if he wants. maybe he'll start going by his real name if that happens.) sburstall
Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to see the trumpet/sop in the DCI logo? Did you see it right away? Was it an epiphany later?I think of it like the right-arrow in the FedEx logo... you see it later. I don't see any trumpets, but I do see a soprano bugle when it first came out. Slow Adam
Noticed it the first time I saw it in 87.Didn't get the FedEx one until now. Another tricky one is the old Sun Microsystems' logo It is formed by "UNs" all the way around. I noticed this one a few years ago...pretty brilliant design. Lance
Yeah, that's a nifty one. This thread would be great for teaching about gestalt principles.
