rut-roh
I liked last years unis as well but I thought and many Ive spoken to thought this as well, that the way the uni was cut and form fit, it made everyone look like they were 16. Legs looked very spindly. Which to me says they were actually fit well to the members. I'd much rather see a corps with a more tight/form fitting uniform than the old school "looks like you took a dump in your pants" baggy look....which, honestly, I always felt the old Scouts uniforms had (late 80's through the 90's). As for right now, I'm not digging this look, nor am I digging what I heard of their musical book. BUT I have to say I AM looking forward to seeing the Scouts in June to get the entire package in person.
FlamMan
ha HAAAA! Thanks JK... got the ol' "BD tuck" goin' there... Actually, I think it was SCV who started the left pinky out trend...somewhere around '73 - '74?
sburstall
OMG... that's just... ummm... well, it's really something, huh? Looks like the uniform was made with curtains from the 19th century.
JBrooks
I believe one reason they got the new uniforms was the fact that they were no longer sponsored by Fred J. Miller Inc.
defrabulator55
Hmm. I have that pesky "jumping from the frying pan into the fire" feeling. I didn't like last years uniform and I'm just going to hope that new model is a prototype with lots of tweaking to be done.
