Madison Scouts - Going Green?

I'm diggin' the 70s/80s vibe coming off the color gradient. Reminds me of some MLB uniforms of the early 80s.

BTW, can we lay off the political statements in the sigs?

It's official...the Madison Scouts are now the 1980's Houston Astros of drum corps.

Umm.. man I'm disappointed. It seems to me they changed the uniform just to get away from anything that had to do with last year's staff. I wish them the best of luck this year, but I really don't like the new uniforms. Personally I think they should all like this guy:

I hope posting that pic didn't burn anyone within the Madison Scouts organization. It may not be the uniform many wanted to see, but you must admit, it's much better than most Div 1 corps lately. Much better.

I can not wait to see the Madison Scouts come out and kick butt this season!

I can tell you with CERTAINTY that the Scouts put the uniform out at their open house, and I hear that it was like a movie star walked in the room with the cameras all going off, so I think it is reasonable to assume that they knew it would probably wind up out here in a forum someplace.

I was not there, but talked with a few who were there, so I don't think they or Spanos is going to freak out that the uniform has been put here. It is what it is, and if you know Jeff Spanos, he will just move forward regardless of whether he wanted it to show up here or not. We may not have seen everything yet, so don't jump to conclusions... yet.

I can also tell you that it is my opinion that the general attitude of the 2007 members of the Madison Scouts is pretty strong, so a few opinions to the negative of their new uniform will have approximately ZERO impact on their attitude about wearing it.
