BRASSO Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) What is your favorite show that just missed making finals. For me I like the 1994 Boston Crusaders show "Russian Cameos" Yes...also, 2005 Crossmen. Technically, they finished 14th in Semi's by less than half a tenth, but 13th in quarters. I LOVED the music that year they played in the theme " Crossroads ", ie " Classical Gas", "Paradise by the Dashboard Light", etc. The Prelims audience in '05 gave them one of the best hands of any Corps that actually made Finals too that year. Yes, a great pit intro to begin the show. 3 Quote
Kamarag Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 My two choices are both corps that really should have been in finals. I don't think either of them got a fair shake from the judges, for whatever reason. 1987 Florida Wave, and 1997 Colts 1 Quote

wesleyrp Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Blue Knights 2002- I am the largest BK Homer and Honk, but I think we'd agree this one was as good as it gets for 13th place. People forget that they were making most of the Regional finals that summer and then because Magic of Orlando made Finals from the Div II ranks it bumped BK out. I always thought that they should've added Magic who was deserving but not subtract anyone from that year, but competition is competition. Wes Perkins BK '97 '98 2 Quote
