gsksun4
Normally that would have been a good guess with these two ... this guy does have the same first name as that other star in the Poseidon though ... :-) Are you referring to Popeye with the Porky Pie hat in that other film? Fossil50
Are you referring to Popeye with the Porky Pie hat in that other film? As long as you brought up hats, he used to wear a sombrero

I don't think he's referring to a NYS corps - I also don't think he's right... If WHITE RATS is an anagram: "The Warts", no... "Waitters", no... Heh... HornsUp
If WHITE RATS is an anagram: Not a pure anagram, other letters are also involved. The usage IS regional, I will remind our readers that there are some places in the world besides Upstate and Downstate.

So is His Racineness telling us that they used to call Royal Airs the white rats?

Hmmm, could it also be a reference to the corps that the mystery 'man in the middle' was a big part of for many years? And for bonus points, name the guy in the background, with the shades, and his corps affiliations. Hint - think of Bermudas and Aussie hats, besides a regular military style uni. hairbear
Well...... I offered a clue: "PEPPERMINT PATTY". Does this work with the corps name?
