I love Cadets run and gun, a lot, and I want to see it again soon... but maybe not this year :/ it's a young group as well, so I'd understand if they wanted to spend time cleaning other more difficult passages (the second movement seems right up there with the fast Cadet drill moves of old!) for now. I know when the band I arrange for got permission to do bits of the Mass and Chichester Psalms a few years ago, there were a lot of caveats on how we could arrange the music. And it is interesting that the pre-show official announcement read by the public address announcer at the stadium now specifically states, Presenting the Cadets with the assistance of the Leonard Bernstein office of the New York Philharmonic, ...or somesuch.
