I'm hearing from the rumor mill that McNutt will be leaving for BAC? :wow:

You should take a look at the "Staff merry-go-round" thread. He ain't the only one making a change...

So much for Cadet 2016 thread! On to the next!

Not being an insider to the Cadets, the fan experience, seems quite a bit different from those on the inside. I enjoyed their 2016 production and felt connected by the regular updates from the outset. I had the pleasure of seeing this corps a number of times from the start of the season to the end.

Perhaps their show should have been titled Perseverance!

Let's get this topic back on track. What kind of show would you like to see from them next year?

I'd love to hear them do some Alfred Reed. His Symphony for Brass and Percussion hasn't been done since Crossmen 1995, a show which almost no one talks about. Hard to find a good recording but here's an idea. Would work pretty easily with a story show.

I've also heard they have a show picked out for 2017. It's a sequel to "Awakening" and it's titled "Crumbling."

Modern American orchestral. Angry and fast stuff.

Mike

Something around the idea of "Phoenix" would do nicely.

Or Rocky Balboa.
