  1. I think the Star organization from 90-93 was, the best organization in the activity. The show's they produced were just amazing to say the least.
  2. You're right! BD Was amazing that year! That was the first show I ever saw in my life, I was 3 and my dad took me to a show (we still have pics and the ticket stubs in a photo album). So 91 will always have a place in my heart! So I'll have to disagree with the PR 08 comment! The crowd didn't have a story line for BD, Cadets, PR or Star that year, and people cried they were so touched! So I still say Star wins in all categories!
  3. 1991 Star of Indiana. Hands down the most difficult and well performed shows ever. Those horns played the hardest book in the history (that I'm aware) of drum corps. Plus, they did that Cross to Cross which still just blows my mind!!
  4. I always forgot to do it anyway! I enjoy the show for the show, not the hole they intentionally leave for us to scream. I've boycott this since the first time I saw this drum corps, and am glad it's not going to be in their show this year!
  5. Great Pics! Funny about the cadets, "I think I was mesmerized!"
  6. AMEN BROTHA!!! Even though I'm from the West Coast :/
  7. Well, if anyone was hoping for Crown to pass the Cadets tonight, is disappointed! Both went up though, great scores for both Cream Teams!
  8. Gellio! I couldn't agree more with every single post you just made!! They are two exceptional corps, and to be bickering about who will beat who and at what point is mute. They are both fighters, and may the best fighter win!
  9. How do you join a chat room on an iMac? my sn is trmptfr3ak
  10. It's all good! Thanks for the update!
  11. I think it will be sooner then that my friend! Much sooner!
  12. Yeah, I was looking forward to another great play by play! That was probably better then the Free Live FN Broadcast IMO! No sound delays...no Commercials! :P Love you Kevin, can't wait for the next time you're at the show! -Travis
  13. Very thorough! I love that even as an Alumnus of the Cadets, you gave a great critique of the corps, top to bottom! Cadets and Crown both have a lot of cleaning to do, and when those missing judges come into play, we will see exactly who is better! Both shows/corps are great, can't wait for San Antone!!!
  14. Love how there are tons of pics this season! Great review Chris
  15. I say the sky's the limit with Bluuuuuu's show. They have the bad position coming into this competition with no judges getting to score them. Judges do talk, so if they lose that would be the reason. SCV's downside is their drill is no where near the demand that the Blue Coats are doing. I can't wait to see how this one plays out! STOP SUCKING -Travis
  16. I think, hope and pray that these two beasts from the east stay neck and neck all season long! It did take us (Crown) quite a while to top the Cadets last season, and I can see it happening again this season. I do not see the Cadets jumping so far ahead that they are out of reach for Crown. People keep saying, "Oh, it's the Cadets, they'll clean up their horn book, AND HOW!" But where was that Cadet line last year? I remember hearing some of their rehearsals, and they were not clean at ALL. This was August mind you. Gino is one BA of a Horn Caption head, but if they keep to their tricks from last year, I see them petering out. (I hope it doesn't happen, I like competition!)
  17. Great review! Can't wait to read what you have to say later on in the season! Travis
  18. Thanks for the link! I love how involved the site is this season!
  19. Well...hmmm... I don't think we're at that point...YET. But would it really project to the box? Or would it solely be directed at the on field judges? I think if it were aimed at the later, corps would just use it as a distraction, which I don't think would work. So, I think synths and the amps are enough of a distraction for now. But who knows, Hoppy is quite the imaginative fellow.
  20. Where are the seats? I would be totally down to take them off your hands!
