The scores were right.

This years show had its faults. But, Boy the kids in the corps loved preforning it! It's OK to call the show crap. That's your personal opinion. The Cadets are the fifth best marching unit in the whole world! That's not bad. Madison had a good show too.

I think this is one of the better years in drum corps. I'd rate this year in my top 5, maybe 10.

This is how I rate the domes: 1. Alamo Dome San Antonio- sight lines are great, the acoutics are very good. The concessions and souvies are easy to acsess. 2. Georgia Dome Atlanta- Good sight lines, good acoutics, The food at the concessions was different ( pulled chicken ,beef, and pork sandwiches) But very expensive $4.50 for a coke! $ 8.50 for a beer! I thought I was at a Strip Club!!!! I could not find the souvies. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. * DO NOT SIT IN THE TOP ROWS OF THE BOTTOM SECTION! YOU WILL GET HEAR ALL THE NOISE FROM THE CONCESSION STANDS. I WAS IN SECTION 117. IT WAS REALLY BAD. 3. RCA Dome Indy- The Best Sight Lines. The worst acoutics. The food is your typical stadium fare concessions are easy to get to. I try not to go to shows here.

I think your translation is wrong. I make no excuses for GH but he was saying, he gave up that job because there are people who do it better. You also have to remember he is the director of The Cadets. The Crossmen have a great staff and director. I'm pulling for them to pull off a hail mary and make finals.

I waited in anticipation for the NEW GREAT ending of the Cavaliers, with my guards up, my fist clintched and an old woman in a wheelchair in front of me. I was disapointed :( Not that I really like beating up the handicaped.... The new ending needs a new ending.

After Atlanta, I do now!

I was there last night in Atlanta. Phantom was very good. For the first time last night, I saw them as a corps that could actually win. I wish Phantom luck! Are the red drums with black trim new? They look great!

Back when I was with the Cadets, Father Fred went on tour with us. He would perform service every sunday. Service was optional.

When it ends, you just want to jump up and punch whatever is in front of you!!! I hope there aren't any old ladies in front of me. :P

If drum corps added woodwinds it becomes Band. I would not call it drumcorps any more. But I would go to summer band shows. If drumcorps added Bass Guitars and /or electric key boards. I'm Out!

Not as self -serving and crappy as your post. "Joycean levels of intellectual density and artistic ambition" It's true there are corps out there this year better than the Cadets at this point in the season. I have also made refence to problems The Cadets have with staging and timing in previous post. I don't think anybody on DCP thinks this is the greatest show in drumcorps history. I think the show is unique. I like it.

I think the questions about The Cadets color guard are just. After last years guard that was so promitley displayed in their 2005 production. In last years ballad The Cadets guard was front and center. This year they're in the background. Last the guard was the main sorce of visual interpetation. This year you have the Queen of Hearts, White Rabitt, MadHatter and Dani stealing your focus. The fact is The Cadets guard is doing great work. You just have so much other stuff going on this year that you miss some really cool stuff.excuse the spelling.

The Cadets are not the futer of drum corps. There are too many talented designers. Look at Cavaliers and BlueCoats etc..

I love the fact The Cadets have a unique show. A few closed mined people don't like or understand The Cadets show and/or don't get what The Cadets are trying to do on the field. So they lable the show a "Klunker" or a "Miserable Failure" They are right! In their minds.[/b] That's like me saying "The Blue Devils totaly and compleatly Suck Azzz". We know they don't totaly and compleatly Suck Azzz". But for the person who doesn't understand or like The Devils they do totaly and compleatly Suck Azzz". Drum Corps is for all the fans. I glad we don't have a bunch of cookie cutter shows out there. ~B~

Jackie Gillie gave The Cadets a 17.80 in GE Visual. Cadets scored an 18.30 the night before. I think 99.99 % of judges are unbiased.
