  1. Maybe the BAC can pull off another 88.75 like last year. Imagine the VIP tent has been stripped clean of all the food!!
  2. Other corps members from other corps had items taken by someone attached to the corps in some capacity.
  3. Somewhere along the way the brass/percussion writers started improving their skills. It may also be that more accomplished writers jumped onboard and the weaker ones moved on.
  4. http://www.wcvb.com/weather/radar Click on the "arrow" under the date, after expanding the picture, and you can track the rain cloud movements. With no dark green showing, the odds are very high that there will be no rain.
  5. Enjoy and stay focused whoever is driving.
  6. I've heard of other corps where some members had personal items stolen while in the corps "compound". I find this very disturbing.
  7. Whoever judges the finals will have seen everyone several times, so all corps hope the majority liked them earlier in the season. (Sorry this is a late post. Finally arrived at St. Benedictine U., Lisle, IL. This campus is a postage stamp which is great for not having to walk too far, but I wonder how crowded it was the night the Cavies had their show here.)
  8. Thanks. Seeing the picture you posted had me ticked off at the spacing with the tuba's.....still! Just sitting here in a hotel in Omaha and that photo made me more frustrated than one should be.
  9. Haven't checked, but has any other corps had a roller coaster ride as far as scoring goes like Boston this year? Oh yeah, still would like input to my other question earlier. Thank you.
  10. Thanks for the photos L. Question to all contra players past and present. Is it very difficult to maintain equal spacing with the damm thing on your shoulder?
  11. How did Boston, or anyone else if it happens to them someday, drop 2.3 in one night?
  12. You might be right, but guards today hardly ever do pinwheel spins. It's mostly tosses which are harder to synchronize for height and positioning.
  13. Have to go back to the Rockford TOC (7-15th) to see when K. Miller last was the guard judge for the top 8. (He was the guard judge on the 25th, but the Cadets were the only top 8 competing.) As for the 15th, he had these scores/placements BD-17.10 PR-17.00 CAD-16.80 CC-16.50 SCV-16.20 BC-16.00 BAC-15.50 CAV-15.00 If the majority of the regular guard judges have most guards in some sort of consistent placements, maybe K. Miller is more comfortable with the visuals.
  14. Can't see any top 12 guard have this type of drop in one night unless all kinds of equipment was dropped. There's got to be a story behind the story.
  15. But Benny Goodman might like that "swing". (What's the history of the guard judge in Dallas and tonight?)
  16. Cavies took guard over Boston. Off night we hope.
  17. Wrong millionaire. Believe that's the 25 million dollar limousine liberal Matt Lauer.
  18. Dammmmm it! I'm getting tired (again) of reading about Boston's visual problems. Once moving, foget the DM's and use your eyes to march properly!
  19. Those that would go ballistic if their child was not moved quickly, might be the first one to file a law suit if their child was moved quickly and a more serious injury resulted without a proper evaluation by a qualified medical person. (Opppsss! Had not read beyond L's post before the above reply, so Stu's reply was not seen.)
