great movie!

Just because there are more options of seeing the shows does not mean that more people will be able to see them. As of myself, I will not be able to attend Quarters at a theater or watch Semis on the computer because I will be busy with college band camp. This will probably be the first year I actually buy a DVD so I can actually see all the shows. I always looked forward to the TV broadcast, even if it was just parts of shows not even any Open Class. Last year when the broadcast started, I was in instant tears. To me the broadcast is more about reliving your memories from on the road the summer before, or anytime you were on the road. Its more than just seeing the shows. I'm not mad at the fact the broadcast is gone. In order to save money, things do need to be cancelled from time to time. But if anything can be done to bring it back, I will gladly support it.

i personally think the scores will a little tonight for some, if not all the corps. having marched at the show last year, i can tell you the field is very rough. insane thick grass. i hope im wrong, but i would not be surprised if i am right. on a lighter note... Im getting pretty excited about BAC. if they were to overtake cavies in even 1 caption, that would be very exciting. Had them kinda low in my predictions, but cant wait to see where they end up by the end of the season. Also want to say Go Bob and Dutch Boy. Fun corps to hang out with. Would love to see them medal again this year!

looking at scores from Dublin compared to those from last night, there are 6 corps all within 2-3 points of each other. such excitement!

the Colt Cadets are a great bunch of kids. we did retreat with them once or twice last year and hung out with them in the lot after one of the shows. never really got to hear them though other than in retreat.

i agree with BD getting the highest score since the show is on the west coast. and it seems like Cavies always open with a score in the 75 area. I really think it will be pretty close when it comes to Cavies, Cadets, BD, and Coats.

I do the occasional acting at school, but for the most part im in steel band, jazz band, percussion ensemble and concert and marching bands. And I also do ultimate frisbee

When I first heard they were doing The Planets, I was thought great, not again. But hearing this has really changed my mind. I mean, WOW! I can't wait to see this show, might end up being one of my favorites. Anyone catch 2001 by any chance?

I am going. I have a jazz band performance right before it, so I have to rush to get there. But I will be going to the one at Malco in Madison Mississippi.

For weeks I was planning on going. Even had friends from school who had not never marched or seen drum corps before wanting to go. Then two days ago I find out I have a jazz band performance on that day right when the show starts. Of all the days left in the semester, it had to be that one

My grandmother took a shirt i have from Memphis and made it into a pillow for me this past Christmas. Its really nice. I have it sitting on top of my tv in my dorm.

The term Drum Corps itself. Nobody around here really knows what it is. They all think it means i play the drums.

seems like bad things are happening to the dome alot. but at least the game ended the way it was supposed to GO STATE!
