I was going to say the same thing but you beat me to it! Thunder Stealer!!! Anyway the Glassmen have a great show musically until that darn 3rd part! I was eating every minute of it until the part 3. What a let down. I felt like I had been transported to the zoo. It was awful and I wanted them off the field. Well I guess my feelings weren’t that strong or negative, but I hope they rewrite that part completely to fit in with the show. The show is dark, powerful, and full of passion. Let’s keep it like that. If only they were as polished as they were a few years back.

I would have to say 99 because that was really a transistion year between the 90s style cavaliers and newer 2000 original music shows. 99 to me has that classic cavaliers feel to it but with a furturistc edge. I can't put it into words so its best to stop. b**bs

I think our society is hooked on what the "new" is. When we look back we see things that are dated and perhaps associate the mediums of the time with other events that were not such positives in our lives. We, as a society, tend to remember the bad more than the good. Come to your own conclusion, watch "game-tape" from years past. Shows are okay and certain ones like 93 Star 96 “Defiant Heart” still gives me Goosebumps. These shows were all brilliant and well thought out but when compared to shows today or let’s say if they were performed today they’d seem to lack creativity, Why? Well because the designers of today’s shows are always pushing the envelope. We’ve got crazy well thought out themed shows that are amped to the max on caffeine and soundboards running the show. Change is inevitable, Change is good!

I think Cadets might pull away a little more tonite. They had a day to work on what some of the judges might have suggested help their production. Although I'm still pulling for the Regiment upset!!!!! ^OO^

Of course we can't tell how well the corps are all doing untill they come together but it looks like BD is come back with vengance after last years 4th place...not that 4th place is bad. They must be real sharp this year.

I guess you didn't enjoy my sarcasm. Of course their not nervous, their the freaking Cadets!!!

I dunno that DOOR from last year had to cost alot. ^OO^ Back to the zone....

I too find Phantom’s musical arrangements to be a little sour and dry. I'm praying that the 1st time viewing bug is all that I've caught, but if the show doesn't improve GE-wise from the Lisle show watch out for the corps behind. Everyone is so good this year. Which is a great thing!!! I guess I'm looking for part 2 of last year’s brilliant show. Go Phantom and G-men

I see this going two different ways: 1. The scores will be really high for everyone, IE.. Cadets 76.7 and Phantom 74.9 OR 2. The scores will be much lower than expected with Cadets super close to what the Cavies and BD have been scoring. This way DCI can sit back while we create meaningless banter such as this topic. Just kidding, I hope... Whatever happens, go Regiment.

The numbers that the coats are pumping out are really beginning to excite me. Could we have a new corps break into the top 3? Besides last years PR how exciting would it be for another corps beside the Cavaliers, Garfield, BD, SCV or Phantom in the top 3???? Granted you could almost count the three headed monsters in the top three, but I'm really getting jazzed for some new blood. Lets hope for another shade bloooo. ps and I didn't even like their show in lisle, but excelence pays off. Good work guys and gals, Best of luck!
