BD's shows have always had a high level of demand. They execute very well, to the point where it looks easy to some people. Plus, I'd much rather see a corps move slowly in a way that goes along with the music than to have them running around just for the sake of running around ('08 being the exception).

Oh, and one more thing - I like BD's show this year. I don't exactly get it, but I didn't get Bluecoats' or Blue Stars' shows, either. I would be okay with this show winning (but I like Cavies and Cadets this year, too...hell, I like almost everybody's shows this year, whether I get them or not). Haters gonna hate.

You really think Harlem Nocturne is "un-hummable?" Really? That's just...strange. Oh wait, you just hate anybody that isn't the Crossmen. I forgot.

No, people are taking the Troopers seriously. It's just that you're the biggest Troop homer I've ever seen, and you seem to think that because they aren't getting all the praise in the world, everybody must clearly hate them. Let the corps speak for themselves - I don't need to hear it from some cheerleader. I know you like them and you clearly want them to do well this year. That's fine and I totally respect that...but we get it. You can stop now. And, please, if you folks think I'm being mean, go ahead and unleash the downvotes. A negative reputation on some summer band forum isn't gonna ruin my life.

Couple that with Blue Stars getting 12th...maybe we'd see some reactions similar to the end of the Stanley Cup this year?

I'm already in my room. Also, something drum corps-related: While I can't watch any of the shows tonight, I'm really glad to hear more and more positive comments about SCV. I think they're really beginning to prove that some of that avant-garde music can be used effectively in drum corps...but notice that I said "some." When a drum corps starts using the music of George Crumb, that's when I quit...but hopefully that day will never come.

No Fan Network subscription for me. Too poor. I'll still stop, though. I'm getting kinda hungry, anyway. Dinner time!

No, here's what the problem is: Random Poster: "Madison's show is alright. Not a huge fan." How this post is viewed by some Madison people on this board: "I PERSONALLY AND DEEPLY HATE EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT HAS EVER BEEN INVOLVED WITH THIS CORPS AND I HOPE MANY TERRIBLE THINGS HAPPEN TO THEM." So, stop getting so offended by people who don't like the show. Problem solved.

True. I just forgot because there hasn't been a full-fledged BD argument on here in a while.

If you looked at some of the more recent posts, you'd see that he was actually paraphrasing a movie quote (I didn't get it, either), but that doesn't matter. Also, in my experiences here, it seems like the Madison people on this board are really the only ones that actually jump down peoples' throats whenever they make a comment about Madison that's anything less than "omg best thing since sliced bread."

Yeah, that totally went right over my head. Never seen Risky Business (but I've heard of it).
