  1. It could work...if they dyed the white uniforms dark green.
  2. I just want the Scouts to do some Latin tunes again...
  3. That's a good point. Considering that, I think the only sensible solution here would be to mic the brass as well.
  4. Congrats Cadets on your 10th DCI World Championship!
  5. Are they splitting those runs? I never realized that, if true.
  6. Okay, Phantom just put tears in my eyes. Wow.
  7. Same thing happened to me. I just switched to high cam.
  8. Quote of the night from Boo: "It [Phantom's show] breathes and has a direct connection into the heart, as if a coronary catheter is pumping adrenaline directly into my bloodstream."
  9. I do love that "infinity" chord. Another goose bump moment for me.
  10. I can definitely see why Spirit is competing for a top 12 spot this year. Great show, and it's pretty clean, too.
  11. Not many corps can give me goosebumps through a webcast like the Crossmen just did.
  12. I love, love, love the changes. I don't know if they will help them competitively, but I love them. I will say, though, that the transition into Elsa's still feels awkward to me. The solo is nice (especially since I'm pretty sure that's the Romeo character playing it), it just feels a little abrupt after the previous tune.
  13. Anyone know if the Blue Devils have the "God Give Me Strength" closer in yet?
  14. Phantom beat BD in guard? And only a tenth behind Cadets? Fine with me.
  15. Well this set-up looks different...
  16. Inconsistent performances had a role, no doubt, but I have a hard time believing that they would account for everything. By the way, I'm not complaining about the difference in scores; I think ideally, especially this early in the season, different judges will have different opinions, and should give different scores accordingly.
  17. No kidding! I knew slotting happens to some degree, even if it's on a subconscious level, but I never would have guessed that preventing the judges from seeing each other's scores would result in variations this large. I mean, sure, it's early, so the corps are probably inconsistent right now, but I have to believe that many of the differences between the two nights come from different judges reading things completely differently, without knowing who the best corps supposedly are this year, and being unable to give them the benefit of the doubt.
  18. Wow...I think I beat you by a fraction of a second--by the time I loaded the page after I posted yours was already there! But yeah, Nintendo's pretty sweet.
