Madison is being groomed to beat BAC tomorrow night

I should know my corps history....ESPECIALLY a corps a marched with...but I'm a little lacking on a few things. Firstly, can someone tell me how "Conquest" for the corps originated? The only thing that I know is it was from "Captain from Castile" music, but don't know much more about the original roots. How did it evolved as the corps identity etc. Maybe I've just forgotten over the years...That is sad!...lol Secondly I was also wondering when the corps very first sang "Giant" and where that originated from. I think it was a 1950's movie, but I'm really vague in memory on any of the details. Good luck BAC in quarters and break 92 baby! I'm on my way to theater now. Need to beat traffic...LOL

I am not sure if you are being sarcastic about facebook here?....Please understand facebook is not a joke...I do not support this action by these groups...BUT Social marketing is something that cannot be ignored and they know that. It is also something I know a lot about, but of course those numbers to me are not all that impressive to say the least. BUT in defense of your comments...I'm also not impressed with their quantifiable justification either.

I tend to agree with this opinion....I'm not jumping up and down over Star either...I liked 91 Star and thought it was 1000x better EVEN though the last closing sets were a TAD dirty. The pure excitement of it...made up for the dirt...same idea of dirt with PR 2008 for that matter IMO. The excitement ruled the day for me and the dirtier visual did not matter!

Definitely really cool stories to read...thanks for sharing those...I remember in 90 we were attempting to get rid of any BAD rep from previous years...BUT I can say I'm glad to see they still HOLD parade breaking ranks a tradition! 93 is in their grasp!

OMG! I've had fan network for 3 seasons and NEVER knew that!....Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!! I am so dang excited right now....I have a whole bunch more of corps to watch now!!!!!! I never clicked on that bar above thought it was just a graphic...LOL

Just a side note. Why aren't OPEN class corps on the fan network?
