A friend of mine is currently marching with BAC and I have been communicating with him via text message most of the summer. Tonight after their show, he texted me and told me that BAC had been docked 2 FULL points tonight for reasons that were unclear. If anyone knows anything about this, please, let me know as I am very concerned.

Obviously they will come out in Star's 93 uniforms and perform the Medea show to perfection. However Marie will give them a negative GE visual score and they will drop out of Finals.

Maybe...but if you go back and watch the Finals performance of 1993 Star, the audience absolutely erupts after the end of that show. I am a relative newbie to drum corps but it often confuses me when people say this was not a fan favorite. That audience reaction at the end of their show is one of the loudest I've ever heard. I'd be happy to eat my words if the audience reacts in a similar nature at Finals to BD's show this year...but right now I just don't see that happening.

Much to my surprise, the loudest was for CROWN. Not that I don't like the show, it's actually my favorite this year , I just assumed that it would be Madison or Cavies because of all the chatter on here about those two being the fan favorites this year. Just shows you to take everything on DCP with a grain of salt. On a side note, I am in the South...

I can't believe this one has only been mentioned once CAVIES 92!!!! Also I like Cadets 91 - Short Ride and Star 90,91, and 93. Phantom 2010 is a work of art.

Boston's show is getting walloped by the judges this year (inconsistent scoring, etc.) At least they are getting some love from the people!

A lot of people that have been at performances this year are saying that crown is having "issues" with the brass. I have not yet been to a live performance, only watched the FN stuff. This is apparent in the large gap between their brass scores and their ensemble music scores. http://www.dci.org/scores/recap/view.cfm?e...48-bcf146e77eb9 Now I am not familiar with how DCI judges evaluate brass vs. ensemble and how the two relate. If someone would be so kind to explain to me what is causing this scoring (specific to Crown) and how specifically both the brass and ensemble music categories are judged (In general) that would be much appreciated! Crown is one of my favorite corps and I am just curious as to why they are getting beat up by the judges. Thanks!

BAC's Ballad is absolutely incredible!

In my very meaningless opinion, Based on the video and scoring of Crown's show this year, I believe that RIGHT NOW it is under scored as a whole. As in they should be slightly higher in every sub-category with maybe one or two current exceptions. Obviously, they still have cleaning to do. A lot of people on DCP seem to be counting them out for the title this year. Watch out for them come Finals week!
