    I doubt Madison will beat any of those four corps coming out of the gate. Traditionally, the judging of the first few shows EXACTLY matches finals placement of the year before. It takes about three shows under the judges belts (and having conversations with each other) before there is any movement from the year before.

    I think the top news stories will be: 1) Blue Stars pushing for a top spot 2) Phantom working hard to stay where they were in 2009 3) How competitive and close the top-12 are getting. The fight for finals will be unprecedented. 4) What happened to some of the units in the 16-20 range. Some are able to hold their ground, with others falling by the wayside.

    There's only one high school in Bowling Green. I'm surprised the show is being held there. The band director is very anti-corps. Whoever is sponsoring the show show must be anticipating a bad turnout because there are much better stadiums that would be available.

    Not a whole woodwind section. But I can easily see a single amp'd flute player standing in the pit. Or an amp'd reed quartet to set the mood.

    Thank You for including 1982. I LOVE that show, but I sometimes feel like I'm the only one. Whenever it comes up on my iPod when I'm at the gym my workout immediately becomes more intense. Check out Crossmen 1982!
