ALAN , Trumpet player on The Late show with David Letterman - CBS for 15 Years as well as numerous performance on Late night with David Letterman – NBC. Alan is the second Longest Network TV trumpet payer in history. Second only to the Great DOC Severinsen. The two trumpeters share the same birthday. Chez has played with such artists as Bonjovi , The Rolling Stones , David Bowie , Tower of Power, Robert Cray Band, Spyro Gyra, Stevie Wonder , Sting, Eric Clapton, Cee lo Greene , Snoop dog, Flava Flav , James Brown , Bruce Springsteen , Earth wind and Fire , as well of many others He has performed at such events as several Presidential Inaugurations, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions and Rock hall DVD collection, John Lennon's 50th birthday Celebration in Tokyo Japan , the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games Closing Ceremonies, the Concert of the Century at the White house, the Concert for New York and the Very Special Christmas Concert. Chez is devoting his time these days to his a Passion "Al Chez and The Brothers of Funk Big Band," a big band playing rock and soul music with big horn sound . Alan has continued his passion for the marching arts as a brass instructor, visual instructor. Clinician , and designer. Alan has worked with DCI champion the Cadets , Oakland Crusaders , Jersey surf , and Perennial DCI finalist Crossmen . Alan is returning the Crossmen for his 16th consecutive season. Alan also designs ,and has instructed DCA champions The Reading Buccaneers , The Empire Statesmen . DCA finalists the Kingston Grenadiers and returns to New Jerseys Fusion Core for his 4th season as designer. Alan has worked for The Philadelphia school of the arts , is Jazz residency at Haverford school systems. Alan has Worked with many high school and college bands across the country .The University of Virginia, South Brunswick high school, JP Stevens high school to name a few. Alan has been a music adjudicator for DCI , Tournament of champions , New Jersey , St. Louis , Kentucky , and Cavalcade in Philadelphia. Alan lives in the great state of New Jersey with his wife Cat, 6 kids , and 3 dogs.
