I'm making an 8 hour drive to go see the show In San Antonio! I wasn't satisfied with the lineups in Oklahoma this year.. So I just said screw it and worked dci into my summer vacation.

I'm not sure if I like the change in the closer or not. I was so happy when the changed ending started on the webcast tonight but at the very end I just felt like something was still missing... Maybe it was the poor sound quality. But I am going to be at the San antonio show on Saturday so maybe it will have more effect on me then.

IMO pit would be a lot more challenging to receive a spot. There are tons of tryouts for just a few spots. But learning a new instrument and getting up to the standards for a Drum Corps would also be challenging! If I were you I would tryout for both spots. You would have a better chance that way.

I would say its low risk because your not running around like barbarians tackeling one and other over a ball!

This post is a little late. This was my first time to see genesis and I am thoroughly impressed! Their hornline has such a mature sound for the age of the performers behind them.in my opinion their show was executed better and was more entertaining than the first three world class shows! Great job genesis!

I was in mustang tonight and I can guarantee the BK deserved that score! What a show they put on! The choreography was superb that hornline was breathtaking! Im so excited to see them in San Antonio! GO BK!

I sorta interviewed the Bluecoats sound tech and he for the most part uses it for sheet music. Instead of messing with papers he uses a sheet music software.

I went to their rehearsal Wichita KS on Sunday and they spent a lot of time during sectionals doing breathing exercises. They seemed to practice the leg thing on everything! They applied it to everthing during their warm up. They played a world without pants like ten or so times while they are bringing their leg up and down every four counts. The only thing that sucked about that rehearsal is it was a level 3 day :(
