You must be very young. The entire activity has risen to a new level of brass standards because of what David Bertman did in the 2000's.

It's a joke. For the longest time BD was known for having the least athletically demanding shows. Don't know about nowadays... it looks to me like overall set numbers and BPM are way down across the activity.

I would like to point out it's easy to have high brass scores when you only march like 10 sets.

I remember 6-pointing them in the early 2000's. They did not take it well.

The costumes are atrocious and perfectly sums up where this activity has landed. This, combined with the activity's preference for theatre over athleticism makes me hope my kids never gain an interest in marching. It's a d*mn shame.

If you have to "explain" the show then you're not doing something right. The best Cavalier shows of all time needed no explaining.

Cannot disagree more. Complete loss of identity for the corps. I can't understand why they would wear these steampunk pajamas over the (very slick) corps proper uniforms. Watching the corps succomb to this WGI trend makes my stomach sick.
