Again sharing my thoughts from 35 yd line, 4th row The colts were impressive, they’ve come a very long way since I last saw them in person. The show works well, but hear me out… the show (shoulda) (coulda) (woulda) worked way better if it was the story of a red blood cell traveling through the vascular system The cavaliers look and sound so #### professional out there. They prove that traditional uniforms (and uniformity) aren’t a bad thing, if only they’d t tell whoever determines “what the judges want”. The back half of the show is awesome and has me longing for the type of shows that made me fall in love with drum corps. Phantom Regiment hot ####!!! They’re on fire. Full disclosure, this is my people. That all being said, they were actually that much more impressive than Cavies (maybe built up too much in my head). Synths we’re a bit much. Mandarins. Satanism isn’t my thing. (I’m redacting the rest of my comments because some on here think I’m not entitled to hold my own opinions) Cadets just wow!! That’d ballad is so beautiful. Yall’re gonna roast me for saying this but from the ballad to the end, it was like like SCV was out there.

Sharing my perspective from 4th row on 35 yard line. BK was way better all around then they were on flo last night. Troopers were noticeably sloppy (visually). They had a speaker right in front of me and the synths were drowning out the pit a lot of the time. Could also hear a lot of individual payers mic’d. Probably all because I was right behind the speaker. Still one of my favorite shows of the season. Blue Stars was pretty good. Their guard stuck out to me as being pretty dang good. (Not an guard expert and I don’t normally watch them so it’s a big compliment)

Man it is hot hot hot here… long drive but it’s gonna be a great night!!!!!! So excited for this

Ties 'are' back as of last year

Crown's uniforms look so... frumpy, on flo high cam. Don't remember them being like that in person

Hey y’all, first ever post on dcp.. figured it should be here. This is only a prediction for fun and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. We’re in for an impressive, high scoring season. 1. BD - They’re doing the same show they do every year, how could it not win? 2. Crown - Flo doesn’t do this show justice, way better read in person. Their show has potential and I do see them making another run for it. If they can’t make another run soon, they’re gonna end up out of the top 6. 3. Bluecoats - Haven’t liked one or their shows since kinetic noise, but I’m not denying that they’re hot. They’ll be in 3rd (or 1st :/ ). Let’s hope for a show without flower power next year. 4. Boston - Coming off of a run year, they’re gonna fall a bit (it always happens, corps usually surge to 2nd and fall a few times before taking 1st from BD). Just means next year could be it for em. I do really enjoy the show but something seems a bit off. 5. Phantom - Didn’t like their show at first but after watching a bit more, it’s so Phantom! They’re performing with enough attitude to be close to Boston by the end. 6. Cadets - Their show is good and they’ve got energy. Will it be enough to stand out from the rest of the pack though? 7. Cavies - They’re gonna put on a good show, even if the design is unremarkable. Rooting for them but can’t put ‘em higher. 8. Blue Stars - Is anyone actually excited to see them? Hard to go on the up and ups without a passionate fan base. Seem to have taken a step down from last season. 9. Mandarins - More meh than blue stars. Every year they’re in people’s top six for predictions, but they’ve never finished higher than 10th (world class).. I haven’t seen anything to make me think this year is any different 10. Troopers - Riding a high from last year, their show is cool. Lots of cleaning needed if they want to earn a slot like 10th (or even 9th) but I believe in them. 11. Colts - Another one riding on last year’s high, I think they’ve got enough to hang on to a slot. Could see them passing troopers in the end 12. Honestly can’t say. It’s gonna be a battle between Madison Scouts and Blue Knights. (Sorry X-men but I don’t see it this year)
