I'm guessing heat was a major issue for Cascades (especially color guard). They had the 2 heat stroke members at DATR.

I hope they weren't eating bad seafood at Joe's Crab Shack in the Riverwalk. Lots of Mexican places there too.

Less talented guard people are often pushing props, hiding behind spoons, or spinning a cage while the more talented are tossing 12's and catching them behind their backs. Nothing is by accident in show construction these days. Go-pro videos often demonstrate how much time some soloist horn players get to rest behind props not participating in ensemble moments allowing them to prepare for their "winking" solos.

I like the uniforms but I see Cadet "creme" tops & leggings interrupted by shiny pure "white" gym shorts. I love that the uniform and gold bars on the props mirror the traditional uniform of maroon, "creme", and gold used in jacket, cummerbund, sash, pants, and shoes. The gold stripe across the chest replaces the cummerbund.

Mics along the front are picking up hornlines and sound is being re-amplified out through their "ensemble speakers". I stood along the front sidelines in Denver and I even heard percussion battery (snares, quads, bass) coming out the sideline amplifying speakers on the left and the right when batteries got close to the front sideline. This is happening with most top corps. Also, the deep bass synthetic goo is back in spades overpowering the tubas at most impact points in the show.

Spirit is in Austin

I'm starting with Spirit in Austin, then switching to Denton all the way through Crown and then finishing up back in Austin for Cavies and Cadets (because I've seen them less)

They changed all the numbers to 10's by only leaving the 0's & putting "1"s over the other #s.

WGI went for years on wooden brown basketball floor. Then they changed to all white floor tarp pallet for a number of years. Now I believe all groups get a blank black tarp pallet which they usually cover with their own tarp. If all d.c.i. corps voted for a neutral round dot tarp on the field, they could do that. However, I guess they would never get a majority vote in favor of the dot color.

I went to TOC show there a few years ago. Local high school boys like to rev their pickups and horn honk on that road behind the stadium.

So, now I know the biological sex of both individuals and as such I can infer that the accusation is that of non-consensual "straight" sexual activity. What I don't know is the degree of that activity and the AGE of both of these individuals and the age of consent in Indiana. If they were both legal adults last year, it seems to be a case between 2 adults and neither BD nor Bluecoats have legal obligations. If one or both of them are minors, then we have another kettle of fish for them and for BD and/or Bluecoats. I can only guess that if someone is marching in Bluecoats or BD that these people are adults and should be using legal resources and not social media.

I wish DCI didn't have to read a script at every show instructing people to "throw babies". Maybe some of these shows or parts of these shows are not that great to a lot of people these days.
