Crossroads
cant agree with 89 phantom, its one of the most hyped shows on here (more than 89 scv)As far as cadets 93, it may be overshadowed by star, but i think its hardly forgotton hehe, and that's what make's me a rookie in this forum... Whiskey
I sometimes think that 2001 in general is the forgotten year!! :( I watched this DVD about a month ago after not watching it for about year. I was surprised how much I enjoyed watching it. First of all the picture clarity and sound were recorded quite well that year. Very entertaining shows all the way from the bottom on up. That Bluecoat show musically was something else, Regiment was so emotional and powerful, Imago rocked and that drumline was IMO one of the best the activity has ever had, Cadets were way cool with a solid horn and drum book. BD performed a very emotional show that night and being there live I thought should have won, but GE let them down. Cavaliers were extremely entertaining though. fick
Practically every corps in '91 seems to be forgotten with the obvious exception of Star I know that a fav for battery guys is 91 Crossmen (and 92 to follow) Umm...Magic made Div I finals in 2002 after winning Div II. ...after wanting to go Div I, they were told to participate in Div I and made a proven statement (as I remember). 84 Suncoast 89 Suncoast 90 Blue Devils 90 Velvet Knights (I dig the end of their percussion feat. "OOOOO") 93 Blue Devils 95 Blue Devils
skajerk
84 Suncoast89 Suncoast Oh... don't worry about Suncoast. I make sure they get remembered. In fact, everyone's probably sick of me bringing them up as much as I do. B)
rosski47
Ok, this is a random one, but I love the Colts 1994 as well. It came in 14th(?) I believe, so it's easy to see why it gets forgotten, but I find it very entertaining.
ryekart
SCV 1998 - Copland The Modernist - I LOVE this show, the hornline is so LOUD in G! BD 1998 - WSS/Romeo & Juliet - What a great concept and well done. Glassmen 1999 - Shouldn't have beat Madison, but I still love this show
ExPitster
I've been waiting for this topic to come around, so I'll say... 1987 Madison Scouts featuring - Captain from Castille - An American In Paris (remember the taxi car?) - Stars & Stripes (somewhat weirded out) Who would have guessed they would be champs the following year? hallrc
... I hardly see anyone mention Cavaliers 1994/1996, as well as Scouts 1994/1985 or Blue Devils 1993 (just a few personal favorites) ... :sshh: Edited July 24, 2007 by hallrc
