Tommeee
Terrible turf with pieces coming off down to the bare dirt. One huge section right in the middle of the field where the grass has been replaced with a slightly different color. Terrible lighting conditions until it was completely dark. Missing hash marks. Horrible viewing angles with seats that are a mile away from the field. Bad traffic everywhere. I can't believe that this is happening during the biggest event of the year! And this after the debacle of the webcast last weekend. I can't wait until Indy next year!!!

It reminds me of a giant HS stadium...it does not look like a premier college FB venue at all. I am not at all impressed...IT SUCKS HARD CORE!!!!!! Morgoth Bauglir
The field definitely looked like hot garbage.
gwai lo
I don't think traffic is horrible. Just from my short experience with traffic in the midwest, because I go to school there, I think it's better in LA because there are alternative routes. When you hit traffic out in farm country, you're stuck in it for all 10 miles. Coming out of Indy wasn't that great sometimes either... ..but then again I guess I'm just biased. Oh, but I agree, I don't think the stadium is all that great. Edited August 10, 2007 by gwai lo
Eddie
the turf is not like most pro fields. The grass grows parallel to the ground instead of perpendicular and is very thin. The patch in the middle I believe was to cover the "UCLA" logo.

XDome
The only problem I had was that the lights were too @#$%*%^^#$ loud. For all y'all that didn't like the traffic today, wait 'til tomorrow. You ain't seen nothin' yet....

I guess San Diego must have REALLY been bad... I can't wait until Indy next year!!! Yep! No hash mark controversies, no staying up until midnight to get scores... :D
Tommeee
Oh yeah, I forgot about the buzzing lights. That was worse than anything else. I'm going to have buzzing on my DVDs and CDs!!!!!!
Newseditor44
The Rose Bowl is probably the worst DCI Championships venue I have ever been too. You are so far away from the field, and the sound gets washed away before it hits the stands. We should have been in San Diego
