Please Read Before You Post

If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter)

If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint.

When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit...

C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??

Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere.

Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to:

The *Guess Who* Mailbox

Thanx in advance!

All that said and out of the way..

Guess Who # 472 ?

Does anyone want to guess where this photo was taken and when? (or by who?)

Hints / Clues (so far)

  • TomPeashey: The guy on the right is Freddie Farkle! Glad to help...

  • TennTux: He and our Queen are dignitaries in our little town of Who'ville.... (He's the reason we recognize each other at DC functions)

( ^ not Freddy but Freddy is important too)

This has to be enough clues to help everyone name him....

  • HornsUp: #472 has been seen standing in front of assorted corps and flapping his upper extremities, imitating a flightless chicken.

  • TennTux: And at last year's DCA Championships there were SEVERAL more Corps representatives added to his resume!

(Conducted during the "Salute to Our Heroes" multi Corps (Buglers) performance after the Alumni Spectacular in Rochester wearing a Reilly Raiders uniform!)

  • donincardona: you know what.......i am so stupid!!! i know this guy. he's a great very old friend of mine. i had to go back and look at the pic again and i saw his eye's. how could i not know. so now i have a clue.........he rose from the ashes!

  • TomPeashey: clues... he's a drummer... he's a resident of whoville

  • TomPeashey to DonIncardona: I can't believe you even hesitated... cripes you marched next to him

  • TomPeashey: need a better clue? Look at Freddie Farkle's whoville badge....

  • ajlisko: Suddenly I'm in the mood for some Reeses Pieces ..

  • TennTux: The 1976 DCA Championships program has a photo of him on "that" podium! (the pc is from the 75 season)

I think that covers the clues so far....

lol and for many years he lived around the corner from me in GATES, NY

and who brought up Phoenix?

He was a Crusader first... Often he played a HUGE set of tenor drums... back pain didn't help his disposition...

Prior to the Crusaders, he was employed by Uncle Sam and served in Viet Nam ...

It's me, it's me, said Earnest T. Sorry for being AWOL, I just checked in, saw the post and thought I'd put an end to everyone's misery.
