Wait a second--is one of her sons Doug Gengler, bari player? If it is then I went to HS with him and we both went to school with Rod Blagojevich, the impeached Illinois Governor. Six degrees...

Yes, Doug was her son. I also remember Jimmer, who played contra. Don't know if there were any others...

Yep, that's Jeff. Other faces I recognize - Dave Flynn on the left; Tracy Freeman (who's knee Rita is sitting on); looks like Chris Hartowicz on the right and a smidgen of Ma Gengler.

That's current director Adolph DeGrauwe on the far right.

To Rita's left is Jim Anderson and the first guy in the second row is John Anderson. Their parents died in a car accident on the way to 1980 DCI in Birmingham. :grouphug:

1977 postcard of Forty Hall on Forty Hill, Enfield England;

We had an all day rehearsal on the grounds July 8, 1977

In the summer of 77, I sent dozens of letters and postcards to family and friends.

I kept a few postcards for myself and I’ll share 1 with you today.

To Drum Corps Planet, Seasons Greetings, enjoy.
