JeromeyBush
Hey, if you like that I'd post my corps' song ... But it wouldn't make it through the language filters! LegalEagle50
nice!!!!!! i've come to learn how to hum that in 3 years ~ but honestly i'm still a bit clueless on all the words. since we never sing it in public.
JimF-LowBari
classy. Kicker is I don't think even Jeff Ream knows how old Westshores' song really is. If I remember right, it already existed when his dad joined in the mid-60s. Might be second oldest next to 'Garbarina'. Come to think of it I used to have a copy of Skys 40th Anniversary booklet. The words to 'Garbarina' were on one of the pages.
TchMuzk
In the spirit of Chris' original post, I'm going with my Jr. Corps corps song. When you walk through a storm Hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the Dark At the end of the storm There's a golden sky And the sweet silver song of a lark Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Though your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, Walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone
DCIHasBeen
nice!!!!!! ... since we never sing it in public. Argh! Another time-honored tradition offered up at the altar of PC.
NightmareBC
yeah, the hurcs don't have their corps song on the site, but to me personally, i think it should just be kept to ourselves. thats just me, it just means alot.
Donny Drum Corps
We're a bunch of ################################### ################ ################### ############### ###################### of the earth I always thought that Bush's song was ..."All the leaves are brown"... Jamesdrum007
And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone Hey Joe, Verrry classy! Thanks. And Chris, I always got emotional when we did Battle Hymn at Sun ...even though we never had lyrics.
Fran Haring
But it sure sounded great with the harmonies. :) Absolutely! During my years with Sun, I always thought of "IYM" as sort of the "unofficial" corps song. Most of the words to that tune cannot be posted here. "I was walkin' through the jungle...." Cabsleadbari79
As Chris mentioned the Cabs don’t have a corps song, not sure why but by the time I got there, the corps was all ready 33 years old and did pretty well without one. I did have to learn "INY" on my first Bus trip and some other song I can’t repeat in mixed company (we were all male at the time)
