wvu80 Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 Between those two shows, Vanguard 1989. I remember at that time the talk was that the 1989 Vanguard show was the "best ever." The BD 86 and Garfield 1984 were also in that discussion at that time, to be considered "best ever." Garfield 1983 still gives me goosebumps. I also remember thinking at that time that BD 1988 was the best ever show, regardless of placement. There were also some UN-believable SCV shows that finished 2nd in the mid-80's that could also be right up there for best ever. It was a great era for drum corps.
