thePerfectbuzz
Yeah, you're right, we're all supposed to be on these boards trying to solve world hunger I'm going to have to go with 2005 Cavaliers.... Yes, I have seen shows from the 70s up through today, so lack of exposure isn't the reason for my choice, but I just love the music in this show... I know it's definitley not the technically "best evar" and it certainly didn't appeal to everyone, but the hornline was phenomenal and I would argue that their brass was better than The Cadets that year, regardless of how they scored. Just from the opening statement of that show, it's just like... wow, these guys can play. And again, this is choosing from about a hundred shows I feel the exact same way about, I just think that this show gets a lot less credit than it deserves. sad enough i agree with you....and this is from a Cadets trumpet, but marching is a different story
84BDsop
TODAY I am all about Santa Clara Vanguard 1984!( there is a high camera on the tube, see it while it's still up ) Woo! Thanks! Y'know what sucks tho? The camera cut off befiore the last arms in teh air pose...I;ve been looking for a picture of that for YEARS....so if anhyone has it (prelims, finals, doesn;t matter) And don't even GET me going on missing Garfield's company front out of nowhere in 84, or the BD accelerando in the 83 drum featrue...camera work in the early 80s SUCKED! Noname
2003 is my favorite year, I'd say it's Blue Devils in 03, but Phantom does have one of my favorite shows at the same time, especially the ending and opener for me. Very good.

Cainan
There are soooo many but one sticks out to me... 92 Crossmen. That show NEVER gets old and you cant help but get your groove on watching it! One of teh best put together shows ever. No costumes, no magic tricks, no props (unless you count the globe). Just proper in your face drum corps!
