Bloomington, we have a problem

Recommended Posts

... and narration ...

Just imagine. If electronics were legal for this year, the entire field would be in an underground river on its way to Louisville.

And this time I didn't forget the :)

I have room in my back yard, seating is limited, but your as close to the action as you can get!

Just make sure I get a box seat and I'll be happy.

Will the corps have to tighten their drill to fit in the yard?

Do you have room in the driveway for the souvie trailers?

I seriously doubt a hole that isn't even on the field is going to cause DCI to move.

DCI doesn't really have any say in the matter.

If IU decides that the stadium is not usable, then DCI will not be there.

Here's my question...how could a TEXAS-based company screw up the construction of a FOOTBALL field?? Isn't the ability to put together a a field for the most hallowed sport in the state supposed to be a part of any true Texans' DNA??

 This championship is beginning to look snakebit, isn't it? Repeat after me... it's not going to rain for three days straight... it's not going to rain for three days straight... I wonder if Murfreesboro is available.

It's not even part of the field, it's barely on the endzone my maybe 2 feet. I don't see a problem.

Indiana will need to have it fixed for the football season, and it's in their best financial interest to keep DCI at Memorial Stadium... I can't imagine it won't be fixed in time.

It is not necessarily the dramatic stuff you see in the pic that they are concerned about but what you don't see under the turf that still has to be uncovered. Rains heavy enough to do that in a small spot may have done significantly more damage that also may need repair.

Let's hope that is it for the damage.
