Donny Drum Corps
I am kinda partial to # 11 myself. We saved it during the day, and let it rip at night.
cabalumnidrummer
"This could be a thread unto itself: "Cabs non- Spanish tunes" How bout --- The Carpenter's "We've Only Just Begun." 1971" This is a fun idea! My recollections of some other 'memorable' non-Latin numbers we played not yet mentioned: (Some of them may surprise you!) "Chim Chim Cheree" -- 1966 "I've Got Plenty O' Nothin" -- 1966 "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out" and "Second Hand Rose" -- exit in 1966/ 1st half of the season "Strangers In the Night' -- 1966 -- (Replaced the previous medley as the exit) "Caravan" -- 1968 concert "Hurry Sundown" -- 1969 exit "South Rampart Street Parade" -- 1973 "TSOP" -- 1974 "Sweet Gypsy Rose" -- 1974 (first half of the season, replaced by 'South Rampart Street') I'm sure there a lots more 'non-Latin' from throughout the years! And isn't it funny -- Every time we would 'stray' from our Latin roots, the folks would ask "Gee, why don't you play 'Malaguena' or 'Granada' or '_____' (typical 'Latin' number)"? Cabsleadbari79
Allen, for you the season just started, I’m counting down 52 days to labor day. It will be great to be all-together for the first time this season. Lois you missed Allen’s get up in Rochester a long white tuxedo jacket with tails with Statesmen’s cheese on the lapels. (That would be sequins) shorts and filp flops. He was all the rage. All I Have is an old pair of Bell bottoms that don't fit. See you all Saturday

I'm sure some photo will end up on here eventually I just needed to make a fashion statement!! Can you believe I wore that 17 years ago!!! Notice I did NOT have the pants. It's not that they don't fit I just couldn't find them... (yes that sounds good)
camel lips
All I Have is an old pair of Bell bottoms that don't fit. I think they are cooler than anything else out there,,with maybe the exception of the Renegades trench coats. Keep the look.

Fran Haring
There is only so much latin then it becomes old, used and stale. So you don't think my "Osmond Brothers - The Latin Side" show idea would work anywhere? Fran
