Do you know how many years Hopkins has been associated with the cadets? I will go out on a limb here and say it is longer than you have known about DCI. Just saying... In marching as Holy Name, we hope to give praise and recognition not just to the members of the Cadets through 1957, but to the Garfield Cadets, the Cadets of Bergen County, and today's Cadets," said Hopkins in making the announcement. The exciting news comes exactly one year in advance of when the Cadets will hold their 75th Anniversary celebrations in New Jersey, The weekend of July 31 through Aug. 2, 2009. ok...just when I am all up in Hoppy's grill about the show this year and how he should retire and stuff....he goes and does this. way to go George.
